By placing an order, submitting a quote request, or using any service offered by Creative Legacy Etching, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all customers, whether ordering online, by phone, or in person.

Creative Legacy Etching provides custom laser engraving and etching services on a variety of materials including wood, metal, leather, leatherette, anodized aluminum, and natural slate/stone. All work is custom and made to order. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including orders containing content we deem inappropriate, offensive, or legally problematic.

All orders begin with a quote request. Quotes are estimates based on the information provided and are subject to change if project details change. A quote is not a binding contract until a written confirmation and deposit (if required) have been received. We will contact you to confirm all details before production begins. Rush orders may be subject to additional fees and are accepted at our discretion based on current workload.

You are responsible for providing accurate, high-quality artwork or design files when required. Accepted file formats include JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG, and AI. Creative Legacy Etching is not responsible for poor engraving quality resulting from low-resolution or improperly formatted artwork submitted by the customer. We will notify you if submitted files are unsuitable and work with you to find a solution before production begins. By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the rights to the design or have permission to use it for commercial reproduction.

You represent and warrant that any artwork, logos, text, or designs you submit do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Creative Legacy Etching will not knowingly reproduce trademarked, copyrighted, or otherwise protected material without proper authorization. We reserve the right to refuse any order we believe may infringe on third-party rights. You agree to indemnify and hold Creative Legacy Etching harmless from any claims arising from intellectual property violations in materials you provide.

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. For custom orders, a deposit may be required before production begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion or prior to shipping. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods as communicated at checkout. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed orders will be honored at the quoted price.

Standard production times vary based on order complexity, material availability, and current workload. Estimated turnaround times are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing. Creative Legacy Etching is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to material shortages, equipment issues, or shipping carrier delays. We will communicate any significant delays as soon as they are known.

We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping costs are calculated based on order size, weight, and destination, and will be communicated prior to order confirmation. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Creative Legacy Etching is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or delayed in transit once handed to the carrier. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 business days with photos of the damage so we can assist with a carrier claim.

Because all products are custom-made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item was produced incorrectly due to our error. If we made a mistake, we will remake the item at no charge or issue a refund at our discretion. Cancellations must be requested before production begins. Once production has started, cancellations may not be possible and deposits may be non-refundable. Please review all order details carefully before confirming your order.

Natural materials such as wood and slate may exhibit natural variations in grain, color, and texture. These variations are inherent to the material and are not considered defects. Engraving results may vary slightly between pieces due to these natural characteristics. We take pride in the quality of our work and will always strive to deliver a product that meets or exceeds your expectations.

Creative Legacy Etching's liability for any claim arising from our products or services is limited to the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

We collect personal information (name, email, phone, shipping address) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and communicating with you about your project. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is stored securely and used only as necessary to provide our services. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here.

Creative Legacy Etching proudly offers discounts to verified U.S. military veterans and active-duty personnel, as well as first responders including law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs. Proof of service or employment may be required. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue discount programs at any time.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Bernardino County, California.
